Staff reporter : US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Donald Lu has left Dhaka after 3-day visit.

The plane carrying him left Shahjalal Airport at 4:30 am on Thursday. During this visit, he participated in several meetings and exchange meetings at different levels of the government and private sector.
He arrived Dhaka last Tuesday and held a meeting with civil society, journalists and environmental activists. In the night, Prime Minister's Adviser on Private Industries and Investment held a meeting at Salman F Rahman's residence. Dinner was arranged there.

He also held a meeting with the Foreign Secretary, Environment Minister and Foreign Minister on Wednesday. In a joint briefing, Donald Lu said that the United States wants to improve relations with Bangladesh.
