Couple killed in Dhamrai bus crash

Sun News Desk: A couple of workers were killed by a bus while going to a garment factory on bicycle in Dhamrai on Wednesday.

The deceased are- Md. Israfil, 35 is the son of Nannu Mia in Dhamrai. He worked in a factory of Graphics Design in Dhamrai. His wife Sapna worked with him in the same garment factory.

According to highway police sources, the couple left for work on a bicycle on Wednesday morning. When they reached in front of the graphics design factory in Balitha Srirampur area on the Dhaka-Aricha highway in Dhamrai, a bus from behind hit them. They died on the spot.

Shah Alam, Gola Highway Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI), said that the bodies of the deceased have been recovered and the family members have been informed. As they have no complaint, the process of handing over the body is going on.
