Govt sets new office timing

Sun News Desk: The Government has rescheduled the timing for the Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous and Semi-Autonomous Institutions. The new timing will start from November 9:00am to 4:00pm.

The new schedule for the office of 2023 was approved in the Cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister's Office on Monday. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presided over the meeting.

The cabinet has rescheduled the work hour today, said Khandaker Anwarul Islam, Cabinet Secretary at a briefing at the secretariat.

The Cabinet Secretary said that the office schedule of all government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous institutions has been rescheduled. Due to the onset of winter, the office schedule of all government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous organizations in the country will be from 9:00am to 4:00pm till further instructions. Presently the office schedule is 8pm to 3pm.
