Staff Reporter: Health and Family Welfare Minister Jahed Malik said, 'Corona vaccination program for slum dwellers will start from tomorrow (Tuesday, November 16). We will first start the vaccination program from the Karail slum in Mohakhali.

He was responding to a question from reporters at the handover ceremony of a refrigerator van at the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) on Monday (November 15).

The health and family welfare minister said about three lakh people live in the Karail slum. The vaccination program will be started with them. Our activities will start in other slums in phases.

He added, 'Slum dwellers who do not have registration can come on the spot and register. Registration can be done through NID or birth registration.
