BNP's Mass Hunger strike In Naya Paltan

Staff Reporter: BNP is holding a mass hunger strike in front of the party's central office in Naya Paltan demanding to take BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia abroad for better treatment.

The program was initiated by the BNP on Saturday (November 20) at 9 am.

The seven-hour program, which begins with the recitation of the Holy Quran in the morning, will continue till 4 pm.

BNP general secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and other senior leaders of the party have joined the mass strike.

Besides Mirza Fakhrul, BNP standing committee member Dr. is on a mass hunger strike. Moin Khan, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Nazrul Islam Khan, Chairperson's Adviser Aman Ullah Aman, Abdus Salam, Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Publicity Secretary Shahid Uddin Annie, Co-Office Secretary Taiful Islam Tipu and other leaders and workers of BNP's affiliated organizations.

Strict security measures have been taken around the program in the vicinity of the BNP central office. Law enforcers were seen in white attire around the office at the time. Additional police and DB police have also been deployed at various points in Naya Paltan.
