November 7 Is A Tragic Day In The History Of Bengalis

Staff Reporter: General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges, Obaidul Quader said on November 7, with a political color and Revolution Day was declared a national solidarity Zia's orders. Later, the BNP-Jamaat alliance has been celebrating this day regularly, while it is a scandalous day in the history of the Bengali nation, a day of mourning, a day of tears.

He said this in a virtual briefing from his residence on Sunday (November 7) morning. He further said that Zia also blocked the judicial process of those who brutally killed the heroic fighters of the liberation war.

The minister said Ziaur Rahman consolidated his power by relying on the November 7 massacre. He used the soldiers to lay the foundation for the return of Bangladesh to Pakistani rule with the blood of freedom fighter officers and their family members. At the same time, he deployed those involved in this night's mischief in different places.

"All mega projects in the country are debt-dependent," Obaidul Quader said in response to the BNP leaders' statement.

He added that even though the BNP does not know, the people of the country know that the government is implementing the Padma Bridge, a symbol of Bangladesh's capability, with its own funds. In fact, they were involved in a conspiracy to stop the construction of the Padma Bridge, they did not want a megaproject in this country. BNP's politics is development-oriented and vindictive. They do not want development, they want the country to be stagnant. The BNP wants communal poison to spread across the country.

Obaidul Quader said, "The Awami League has no precedent of kneeling in the running of the country. The BNP has no precedent." The country is not safe for the BNP, their politics is remote controlled. The politics of the Awami League is driven by the people, a reflection of public opinion.
