He made the remarks while exchanging views with reporters at his residence in Thakurgaon on Wednesday (November 3).

Mirza Fakhrul Islam said the work on the Padma Bridge, which started with an allocation of 10 trillion, has now stalled at tk 40,000 crore. In this way, the allocation is being increased by 4/5 times in each project.

He said the Awami League thinks the Hindu community is their private property. Interacts with them in that way. But an unbiased analysis shows that the people of the Awami League are behind most of the communal clashes.

He added that BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman's return to the country has been hampered by convictions in various false cases. However, the present government could not prove any of the allegations made against Tarique Rahman. Even nowhere in the world has his bank account been found. It will not be possible for anyone to control so many people.
