Blast didn't happen from AC

Sun News Desk: RAB's bomb-disposal unit chief Major Mashiur today said Gulistan's explosion was a normal incident. Accumulated gas inside the basement may have caused the blast.

He said while briefing the media about the developments after visiting the spot

He said that "we have reached the conclusion from our investigation that the explosion at a building at Gulistan did not happen from AC. Our dog squad and bomb disposal units are also present here."

Titas Gas Director (Operations) Md Selim Mia also said they didn't find any clue of a gas leakage in their supply lines.

Major Morshed Alam, director of Bomb Disposal Unit of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) said we entered the damaged building carefully and it appeared that it was not an incident of fire, rather it was an incident of explosion. The level of explosion was massive.
