HSC results published

Average pass rate 85.95pc

Sun News News: The results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations have been published today. The average pass rate is 85.95 per cent across the country.

A total of 11,77,387 students took part in the exams this year.

The pass rate in Dhaka is 87.83 per cent, while 78.76 per cent in Chattogram, 90.72 per cent in Cumilla, 80.32 per cent in Mymensingh, 81.51 per cent in Rajshahi, 81.4 per cent in Sylhet, 83.32 per cent in Jashore, 86.95 per cent in Barishal and 79.06pc in Dinajpur.

Total 1,78,443 students secured GPA-5 in the HSC. The Dhaka board tops the list in terms of highest GPA-5 with 62,421 students.

Earlier this morning, Education Minister Dipu Moni handed over the copy of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. After that, the Premier unveiled the results officially.

The students can get their results from Education Board's website (http://www.educationboardresults.gov.bd) and their respective institutions. A candidate can know his/her result by sending an SMS to 16222 typing HSC, first three letters of respective board name, roll number and the year. For example: "HSC DHA 34**** 2022" and sent to 16222.
