International Desk: Joe Biden will be sworn in as the 46th President of the United States on Wednesday (January 20) . On the same day Kamala Harris will take oath as the first woman Vice President. This historic inauguration will take place in the midst of growing concerns over safety following the recent violent attack on the Capitol Hill by pro-Trump supporters. On this occasion, all the arrangements for the swearing-in ceremony have been completed in the capital Washington.

The swearing-in ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. local time on Wednesday (10 a.m. Bangladesh time). Kamala Harris will be sworn in as vice-president after Biden.

Newly elected President Joe Biden delivered an emotional speech before leaving Delaware for Washington on Tuesday (January 19th). He thanked everyone at the time and said that although his new path was fragile, he would tackle it and move the United States forward.

Later, on arrival in Washington, Biden and Kamala Harris paid their respects at the Lincoln Memorial in Corona.Chief Justice John Roberts will administer the oath of office to Biden.
