Sun News Desk : Awami League has announced various programmes in Dhaka and outside of the capital.

The announcement was made after a joint meeting of the presidents and general secretaries of Dhaka Metropolitan North and South Awami League and its associate bodies at Dhanmondi on Tuesday.

Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif briefed reporters about the programmes after the meeting.

He said a rally will be held at Baitul Mukarram Mosque South Gate on September 23 at 2:30 pm under the initiative of Dhaka Metropolitan North and South Awami League.

The announcement over the AL programmes came a day after BNP announced a 15-day programme, including five road marches, as part of their ongoing one point-movement demanding resignation of the government.

The programme of activities will run from September 19 to October 3.
