AL set to hold two biggest rallies

Sun News Desk : Awami League is set to hold two rallies in Dhaka on September 1 and 2. PM Sheikh Hasina will present as chief guest in both the rallies.

On September 1, Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) will hold biggest student gathering and on September 2, the party will hold a rally ahead of the inauguration of Elevated Expressway.

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader confirmed the matter.

Bangladesh Chhatra League is set to hold its biggest-ever student gathering at Suhrawardi Udyan in the capital on 1 September in remembrance of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib.

BCL president Saddam Hussain said the programme will begin at Suhrawardi Udyan in the afternoon on 1 September.

The BCL central unit issued a seven-point instructions for its all units to make the gathering a success, a press release said.
