International Desk: Six people have been killed in a shooting at a home in central California, police officials said.

Police said they believed two people attacked the home around 3:30 am on Monday, firing multiple shots.
A neighbor called the police, who arrived seven minutes later to find dead and dying people both inside and outside the home.

As deputies arrived, they found two victims dead in the street, a third victim dead in the doorway of the home and the others inside. Deputies performed CPR on one victim who was alive, but he was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
Investigators are interviewing neighbors and survivors.

Tulare is a city of some 70,000 inhabitants in the San Joaquin Valley, roughly halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles.
About 49,000 people died from gunshot wounds in 2021 in the United States, more than half of which were suicides.
