India promised to give onion, Sugar

Own Correspondent: Foreign Minister has requested India to send 50 thousand metric tons of onion and 1 lakh metric tons of sugar before the month of Ramadan. Hasan Mahmud. India has promised 20,000 metric tons of onions and 10,000 metric tons of sugar.

The Foreign Minister gave this information in a press conference at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday (February 12).

The minister said, we are dependent on India for many consumer goods. Especially some products like onions, sugar, pulses and spices. We depend on India for many things. I have discussed this with India's Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal.

I told him that a special quota should be fixed on these consumer goods. So that we can import these from them at the right price and as per our requirement. I can take this benefit from them.

At this time, Hashan Mahmud said that they have already promised to export 20 thousand metric tons of onions and 10 thousand metric tons of sugar to our country before Ramadan. I have talked about increasing it to 50 thousand metric tons of onions and 1 lakh metric tons of sugar. He took it well.
