The former Democratic presidential candidate and first lady said this when asked about US President Joe Biden's relationship with Netanyahu on Wednesday (February 7).

Hillary Clinton said, I think Biden has done everything he can from his position. After October 7, he responded to the legitimate concerns of the Israeli people and did what he could for Israel as an ally. He was with Israel in the face of an attack by a terrorist organization.

Hillary said, Netanyahu must leave power. He is not a credible leader. The attack happened right in front of his eyes (October 7). He has to move.

"If Netanyahu is blocking the ceasefire, and if he is blocking the next steps, then he must step down," she said.

I think it's also clear that Biden is doing everything he can to influence Netanyahu, Hillary Clinton said.

But regarding Israel's conduct in the war, she said, Hamas started it and Israel has the right to defend itself according to the laws of war.

Hillary said, look what Russia has done with Ukraine? Destroyed hospitals, schools, razed entire cities to the ground, kidnapped children. It's horrible. When you are an aggressor, as Hamas was on October 7 and Russia was on February 2022, what do you do with an aggressor? You have to stop them.

She added that it is fair to say that Hamas does not care about the number of civilians still being killed in Gaza by Hamas or by Israeli military operations. Hamas is doing nothing to protect the Palestinians.
