1 killed in Narayanganj blast

Sun News Desk: A person was killed and nine others injured when a fire broke out after an explosion at a two-storey building in Nitaiganj area of Narayanganj on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Awlad, 40.

Md Rana Mia, Narayanganj Fire Service Station Fire Fighter, said the fire originated around 9am and on information five units of fire fighters rushed to the spot and are working to the douse the flame.

In preliminary information, a person was burnt to death and three got injured in the incident.

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately. Law enforcers have been deployed at the scene.
