Sun News Desk: Three people were killed after a passenger bus hit by a train, carrying oil, on Airport Road in the Chattogram on Monday night.

The deceased were identified as railway pointsman Azizul Haque, 30, and bus passengers Asaduzzaman, 30 and Miton Kanti Dey, 25.
They were taken to Chattogram Medical College Hospital where the trio were declared dead.

Sub-inspector Nurul Alam Ashek of Chattogram Medical College Hospital confirmed the matter.
A witness, Md Anwar, said that a bus tried to cross level crossing even after the points man signalled the bus driver for waiting as an oil tanker train had been crossing the road.

The three were rushed to CMCH at about 10:00pm where on-duty doctors declared them dead on arrival.
