WhatsApp service 'down'

Sun News Desk: WhatsApp messaging services app has been down in various countries around the world including UK, India. Customers are suffering. WhatsApp users in Bangladesh are also facing problems. Users of the Meta-owned platform started reporting the problem on Tuesday morning.

The online tool Down Detector was the first to spot anomalies in this messaging app. In most cases, messages are reported as not going through. Many people continue to report server disconnections and app issues.

People from Italy and Turkey also reported problems with the WhatsApp service using other social media.

It is said that more than 12 thousand reports were received within half an hour.

Meanwhile, Meta has informed that efforts are being made to restore services as soon as possible.

Many social media users have reported that they are unable to send messages using WhatsApp.
