Sun News Desk: Two women have been found dead inside their house in Barishal's Babuganj upazila on Thursday morning.

The deceased were identified as former Kedarpur union parishad member Delowar Hossain's mother Lalmun Nesa, 95, and Delwar's daughter-in-law Ripa Akhter, 23. Delwar Hossain's wife Minara Begum, 55, are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Babuganj.

Babuganj Police Station OC Mahbubur Rahman said getting no response from inside the house, neighbours entered the house of Delwar breaking a window. Later, they found the three persons in an unconscious state.

They sent the three women to a local hospital where the on-duty doctors declared two of them dead.

Police suspect that robbers might have occurred the incident during the robbery as they found a hole in the house.
