International Desk: The famous Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino, named after former US President Donald Trump, has been demolished with dynamite. The facility was demolished off the coast of Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Wednesday (February 18th) local time. The Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino opened in 1984, but closed in 2014. This plaza was one of the tourist destinations.
Trump Plaza was destroyed with dynamite at 9:08 a.m. Wednesday. The area was immediately reduced to rubble. Bernie Dillon, a former event manager at the Trump Plaza casino division, said Trump Plaza was the coveted place for celebrities. The way we put Trump Plaza and Atlantic City on the world map was truly incredible.
The New York Times reported that Donald Trump severed ties with Trump Plaza after declaring himself bankrupt. Carl C. Ekahan bought the installation at auction. However, this installation was going on in the name of Trump. Trump lost the November 3 election to Joe Biden and had to relinquish power. The Trump Plaza was demolished less than a month after Biden was sworn in as president.
