He said these things in a discussion meeting with senior railway officials, local administration and residents regarding the eviction of illegal occupants from the railway land in the hall room of Rajbari Pangsha Upazila Parishad on Saturday (March 16) afternoon.
The railway minister said that more than 23 thousand acres of railway land is vacant across the country. Many people are occupying railway land by making fake documents. Railways are trying to take over their land, carrying out eviction proceedings. My point is that you enjoy the railway land. But you enjoy the lease. We have no objection to that. But it will not be possible for you to take possession of railway land by making fake documents.

An autonomous organization is constructing a market on 11 such plots in Dhaka. No one has seen this for a long time. After I became the minister, I stopped the work of the markets after talking to the honorable Prime Minister. There is a plan to rehabilitate the uprooted people living along the railways and railway workers by reclaiming the railway land.
