Staff Correspondent: The High Court has directed to draft a guideline to operate OTT (over the top) media including Heichoi, Netflix, Amazon, Bangabd. The BTRC chairman and information secretary have been asked to report on the draft policy in three months.

A division bench of the High Court comprising Justice JBM Hasan and Justice Khairul Alam passed the order on Monday (January 18) while hearing a writ petition on the issue.. Earlier, two reports from BTRC and Cyber Police Center were submitted to the High Court.

The BTRC report reads that they do not collect any revenue from these platforms as there is no specific guideline or regulation.
