The declaration of 210 newspapers is being canceled

Own correspondent: Information Minister. Hasan Mahmud said that an initiative has been taken to cancel the declarations of 210 newspapers with briefcases.

He was speaking as the chief guest at the bi-annual general meeting of the Rajshahi Divisional Journalists Association at the National Press Club on Thursday (September 23).

He said the deputy commissioners have already been asked to cancel the declarations of 210 newspapers. Because these are briefcases, not printed, sometimes printed suddenly.

The information minister said that they do not run newspapers with declarations, they print newspapers to get advertisements. News Print has taken a declaration to sell the quota. They will be canceled. The mainstream media is being harmed by their activities. The damage is falling on the mainstream journalists.

He further said that with the development of media in the country, some scoundrels are also being created. The minister also said that more new newspapers will be declared.

He also claimed to be a media worker at the time.
