The councilor scored a century with the vaccine

Staff Reporter, Comilla: It takes a lot of sweat to score a century in cricket. It is more difficult to score a century in football but it is not so difficult to push the vaccine. Nadia Nasreen, a woman councilor in a reserved ward of the city corporation, has been criticized for vaccinating more than a hundred people with coronavirus in her office in Comilla without being a doctor.

It is alleged that the woman councilor took these people to her own office in Gangchar area of the city on August 9 and vaccinated them.

A picture of the vaccine being given went viral on social media after Thursday evening.

Councilor Nadia Nasrin is a reserved woman councilor in wards 4, 5 and 6 of the city.

It is learned that at around 12 noon on August 9, some influential local people broke the discipline at the Harun Government Primary School Vaccination Center in the city and put pressure on their own people to get vaccinated first. The common people standing in line started shouting and fighting.

Upon receiving the news, police were deployed at the spot. After that, the vaccination activities at the center were stopped due to fear of clashes.

Councilor Nadia Nasrin went to her front office near the vaccination center with several vaccine vials and several special syringes.

At that time his followers also went to that office. There he administered the first dose of corona ticker (Modernna) to vaccinators with his own hands.

Councilor Nadia Nasrin told reporters on Thursday night that people were in a commotion at the Harun School in the city on August 9 over vaccinations. As a result, vaccination activities at the center were stopped. At this time I brought the vaccines to my office next to the school. After that I push the vaccine in the human body myself. I have vaccinated about 100 people.

"I have training and certificate for vaccination," she said. So I vaccinated myself. No one had any difficulty in this.

In this regard, District Civil Surgeon Mir Mubarak Hossain said, it is not the job of the councilor to administer the vaccine, she cannot push the vaccine in any way. I came to know about the matter from the local media on Thursday night. We will seek an explanation from the city corporation authorities.
