Staff Reporter: In the last 24 hours atleast 241 more people have died due to coronavirus infection. So far, a total of 21,636 people have died in the country due to coronavirus.

Meanwhile, against the test of 49,514 people in 24 hours, 13,614 people have been identified as newly infected with corona.

The information was given in a regular press release on Wednesday (August 4) sent by the Department of Health.

On March 8 last year, the first 3 people in the country were diagnosed with coronavirus. Ten days later, on March 17, the first person to die from the virus in the country.
