Public transport will run from August 11

Staff Correspondent: Public transport will run across the country from Wednesday (August 11). All shops will be opened. The mills will be set up, but the Cabinet Division has issued a notification relaxing the ongoing lockdown with certain conditions. The government has taken such a decision considering the socio-economic condition, the activities of the economy and the overall situation.of the country.

The notification was issued on Sunday (August 8) afternoon.

Despite announcing a lockdown in the next two days, the government has added a number of conditions. The opening hours of shops and shopping malls have been fixed from 8 am to 10 pm. Food shops have also been asked to abide by this deadline. The rules of health laid down by the Department of Health must be complied with; Wear a mask.

Long-standing restrictions on the rise of coronavirus infections will end on Tuesday, August 10.

Earlier on Sunday (August 8), State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain told reporters at the Secretariat that the restrictions would be phased out from August 11 and the health rules would have to be strictly adhered to. Details can be told when we get the new instructions of the Prime Minister today.

A nationwide lockdown is underway to prevent coronavirus infection. The lockdown is running from July 1 to July 14 and from July 23 to August 10. All government and private offices and shops are closed in this lockdown. Even public transport is closed. Garments and mills were initially ordered to close, but were reopened on July 30.

Corona patients were first identified in the country on March 6, 2020. On March 17, one person died of the first corona in the country. So far, 22 thousand 411 people have died in the country due to corona from 16 March to 6 August 2020. So far 13 lakh 43 thousand 398 people have been identified and 11 lakh 6 thousand 620 people have been recovered.

He said the government has extended the strict restrictions on corona infection till August 10. Shops, shopping malls will open from August 11; Public transport will continue, all kinds of government and private offices will be opened.

Earlier, after a virtual inter-ministerial meeting on August 3, Liberation War Affairs Minister AQM Mozammel Haque told the secretariat that the shops would be opened from August 11. From that day on, public transport will run on the road again. The restriction period will continue till the 10th, the office will open from the 11th.
