Syndicate grips Free Book printing

Staff Reporter: It has been alleged that a few syndicated printing companies have started printing free textbooks for the coming academic year. As a result, most of the printing companies are having a bad time. According to the printing owners' association, about 80,000 workers have been forced to lay off during this time in Corona.

The National Curriculum and Textbook Board has decided to print 35 crore textbooks for the next academic year. The tender for printing the textbook has already ended. According to the Printing Owners' Association, only 60 companies have received work on the entire book. But other years, about 500 organizations work.

By syndicating, they get jobs by showing the price of paper below the market price. Now there is a tug of war with the NCTB over the quality of the paper. On the one hand, most of the companies are having a very bad time as they are not getting work on it. Especially small organizations. Due to which the pruning is going on in these institutions. NCTB says, the work has been given according to the rules. They have nothing to do with not getting a job.
