Information and Public Relations Officer of the Secondary and Higher Education Department Mohammad Abul Khair confirmed the matter on Thursday (October 22nd). He said that the leave of educational institutions may be extended further, but it has not been decided yet how long it will be extended. The Ministry of Education may be informed about this in a very short time.

Akram Al Hossain, senior secretary at the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, told reporters that the environment for opening educational institutions has not yet been created. So we have to increase the vacation anew. The decision will be announced on October 29. All educational institutions in the country have been closed since March 16 due to the corona virus epidemic. Due to unfavorable situation, primary final, JSC, HSC examinations have already been canceled. The annual examination of the students has also been canceled.
