Sun News Desk: Seven people have died and 983 others were admitted to the hospital due to dengue fever in the last 24 hours across the country.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Tuesday.
According to the report, a total of 983 people admitted to the hospital due to dengue fever in the last 24 hours. Among them, 532 are residents of Dhaka and 415 are outside of Dhaka. The total number of dengue patients in various public and private hospitals in the country has reached 3,598 with 440 new patients.

A total of 148 people have died of dengue since January 1. The first death due to dengue was reported on June 21 this year.
Noted that during the corona epidemic in 2020, dengue infection was not seen much, but in 2021, 28 thousand 429 people were infected with dengue fever across the country. In the same year, 105 people died by dengue accorss the country.
