Staff- Correspondent: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said, we have been able to buy and bring vaccines in time. Hopefully, by the grace of Allah, we will be able to protect our people from the pandemic.

The Prime Minister said it is our duty to fulfill the fundamental rights of the people. We try our best to serve people.

She was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the corona vaccination program at Kurmitola General Hospital in the capital on Wednesday (January 27th) afternoon. She joined the roll out ceremony through video conference from Ganobhaban.

Sheikh Hasina said that all arrangements have been made for proper corona vaccination. According to the agreement, we will get 34 million doses.

"We have agreed to bring in vaccines," she added, "We are going to start the journey. Unfortunately we have some people who have a negative attitude towards everything."

The pilot inoculation program of Banhladesh is inaugurated today at kurmitola General Hospital. The PM virtually joined the drive.

After the address of the Prime Minister, 5 recipients were inoculated against coronavirus.Runu Veronica Costa, a senior nurse of Kurmitola General hospital, is the first to receive the dose.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina congratulated each of them.
