Government did not collect vaccines in business interest: Quader

Staff Reporter: Awami League's general secretary Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today said government did not collect corona vaccine for any business interest but for the benefit of the people. As BNP has developed a nature of making the good initiatives questionable, the are spreading rumors and propaganda against government regarding corona vaccine.

He made the remarks at a regular briefing at his official residence on Tuesday (January 26th).

Urging the BNP leaders not to spread confusion on sensitive issues like vaccines, Obaidul Quader said the allegations of business interests were baseless and void of truth. He said it was not right to create undue suspicion among the people and obstruct a good initiative unnecessarily, adding that the people were happy as it reflected the implementation of Sheikh Hasina's honesty and commitment.
