Primary teacher recruitment test as soon as the educational institution opens

Staff Reporter: Due to the outbreak of coronavirus, all the educational institutions of the country have been closed and most of the activities of the education department have come to a standstill. That is why it is not possible to conduct primary teacher recruitment test, said AM Mansurul Alam, Director General of the Department of Primary Education. He said, “We are taking preparation for the recruitment test. The work of arranging everything including sorting the application forms and setting questions is going on. If the government gives the green signal to open educational institution, the date of the examination will be announced. ” He told the media on Sunday (January 3).

The director general said, “If the educational institution is not opened, we will not be able to take the exam. Because we have to take exams of about 14 lakh candidates. We will need many centers for such a large number of job seekers. So if the educational institution is not opened, it will not be possible to organize the examination. ”

Earlier, on October 19, the Department of Primary Education issued a notification for the appointment of assistant teachers in government primary schools. This time around 32,000 teachers will be appointed.
