Dr. Zahidur Rashid Sumon died of dengue in a private hospital in the capital.

He died on Sunday (October 25) at 8 am while under medical treatment.

Rahat Anwar Chowdhury,the joint secretary of the Foundation for Doctors Safety Rights and Responsibility (FDSR), an organization of doctors said that Zahidur Rashid Sumon was first attacked by Corona. Although he recovered from it, the hospital authorities said that he had dengue hemorrhagic fever.

He said, Dr. Zahid's latest corona report came negative but he was later contracted with dengue. His oxygen level-platelets decreased.
