How to use the mask properly and keep it safe

Mask is a daily companion in preventing coronavirus. So it is important for everyone to know how to use it and how to keep it clean.

However, since the coronavirus is long-term, many people are using ‘surgical masks’, which can be used over and over again. However, care must be taken to clean them properly and keep them with you.

The way the mask should be worn

CDCI's instruction is to wash hands with soap before touching a clean mask. Now cover the nose and mouth with the mask and pull it up to the bottom of the jaw. Make sure that the mask stays tight around the face.

However, the company thinks that a few layers of cloth mask is safer without using the masks that have 'vents'. All in all, the mask can't have any holes.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines, the first step in wearing a mask is to wash your hands with soap first. Now just hold the ‘elastic strap’ of the mask, place it on the face and hold the outer part of the mask by hand and put it on properly. And once the mask is worn, the mask should not be touched.

On the other hand, the steps to open the mask are to wash your hands with soap first. In the same way ‘elastic straps, hold the mask off and immediately throw it in a covered garbage can and then wash your hands again. And the mask that is used more than once, it should be opened and washed by dipping it in soap or detergent water. And the cloth mask must be washed.
