Per Capita Income Is Rising: The Minister Of Planning Of Bangladesh

Staff Reporter: Planning Minister MA Mannan said, "The country is moving forward under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina. The per capita income of the people is increasing. People's lives are changing. We have suffered some losses in Corona. But we will make up for that."

He was speaking as the chief guest at the monthly meeting of the district law and order committee in Sunamganj on Sunday (November 7). The meeting was held in the conference room of the deputy commissioner's office.

The planning minister said, "We are working for the development of all areas including hills, haors, lowlands, coasts and char areas under the direction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. If he takes any project to the Prime Minister, she will see how it will benefit the people. Whether low-income people will benefit or not. She wants the project to be for the welfare of the people."

Sunamganj Deputy Commissioner Jahangir Hossain presided over the function. Sunamganj Superintendent of Police Mizanur Rahman, Sunamganj Municipality Mayor Nader Bakht, Civil Surgeon Shams Uddin, District Bar Association President Nazrul Islam and others spoke on the occasion.
