Pakistan Launches Missile Test Flares Up Tension With India

International Desk: Amid ongoing tension with India on the borders,Pakistan demanded a successful test of a missile. The indigenously developed Fatah-1 missile was tested on Thursday (January 7th).

Pakistan's ISPR said in a statement that the Fatah-1 multi-launch rocket system could hit at a distance of 140 km. It further reads that the missile system would be handed over to the Pakistan Army. It is capable of hitting enemy territory precisely.

The country's civilian leaders and military officials have congratulated the army and scientists for successfully conducting the test of the missile. Earlier in February, Pakistan successfully conducted the test of Rad-2 cruise missile amid heightened tensions with India.

the fresh development has sparked fears of arms race between these two nuclear armed neighbours and South Asia.Source: Anadulu Agency.
