Most of the pilgrims in Dhaka

Sun News Desk : Most of the registered hajj pilgrims across the country in 2013 are in Dhaka. Only two are in Bandarban.

According to the Religious Ministry, a total of 55,009 hajj pilgrims, who have completed their registration, are from Dhaka district, while two are from Bandarban district.

This year's hajj is expected to be held on June 27 as per the moon sighting. The registration process for hajj ended on Tuesday (April 25), which was began of February 8.

According to the Religious Ministry, total number of registered hajj pilgrims are 1,19,486. Of them, 10,039 are under the government management, while 1,09,447 are under the private management.
