BNP vice-chairman and Feni-3 constituency candidate Abdul Awal Mintoo has filed a general diary (GD) seeking security for his life.

The GD was filed with Daganbhuiyan Police Station on Saturday (February 7) on his behalf by his polling agent Mohammad Shamsuddin.

Feni senior assistant superintendent of police Sonagazi circle Syed Mumid Raihan confirmed the matter.

According to the GD, Jamaat leader Mezbah Uddin Sayeed threatened Mintoo during a Jamaat election meeting at Silonia Bazar in Jaylaskar union of Daganbhuiyan upazila at around 4PM on February 4.
