Sun News Desk : Ismail Hossain Chowdhury Samrat's, Former Jubo League leader, bail in a corruption case has been extended till October 2.

Samrat's lawyer Afroza Shahnaj Parvin Hira filed an application on Monday (August 28) with the court of Dhaka Special Judges Courrt-6 Judge Manjurul Alam seeking time after Samrat appeared in the court in the case.

Today was fixed for charge frame hearing against Samrat.

After hearing on the petition, the Judge granted the bail plea and fixed October 2 for holding the charge frame hearing.

On August 22 last year, Dhaka's Special Judge Court-6's judge Al Asad Md Asifuzzaman granted bail to Samrat after a hearing in the case filed for accumulating illegal wealth.

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Samrat from Chouddagram in Cumilla in October 7, 2019 for his involvement in Casino business.
