Sun News Desk: The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has been decreased by Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC).

The BERC announced the new price through a circular on Thursday which was signed by BERC Secretary Barrister Khalilur Rahman Khan.
The new price is Tk 1,422 and it is effective from today, according to a circular of Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission.

Almost two years ago in April 2021, the price of LPG sold at the private level in the country was first fixed. Since then, price adjustments are being made regularly every month.
On February 2 last, the price of 12 kg cylinder was hiked by Tk 266 to Tk 1,498. The BERC has reduced the LPG cylinder price by Tk 76 after a month.
