Khaleda to be taken to hospital

Sun News Desk: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will go to the Hospital today.

AZM Zahid Hossain, Khaleda's personal physician and also vice chairman of the party, said The former prime minister will go to the capital's Evercare Hospital around 3:00pm.

The BNP chief last visited the hospital on August 22 last year.

The 77-year-old former prime minister has been suffering from liver cirrhosis and various other ailments.

She suffered a heart attack last year and a stent was placed in her heart. She has low haemoglobin, diabetes and chronic kidney disease.

The BNP chief was convicted and imprisoned in a corruption case in 2018.
