Kuwait will take domestic aids from Bangladesh

International Desk: Kuwait has introduced visas for domestic workers from Bangladesh, India, The Philippines, Nepal and Sri Lanka. On sunday,The Kuwaiti government has approved applications from various labor organizations for visas for Kuwaiti nationals in need of domestic workers.

Kuwait's national daily Arab Times and Al Anbar reported that the Supreme Committee's decision to re-launch commercial flights from Kuwait International Airport would allow only domestic workers to enter directly from Bangladesh, India, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Nepal.

New or returning domestic helps need to register in the Balsama app to arrive in Kuwait through sponsorship (owner), airline tickets, institutional separation and payment.

Kuwait will bring back the house helps from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal on the first flight at the end of this month. After that, domestic workers from Bangladesh and Nepal are expected to enter Kuwait directly.

However, no decision has yet been made on the direct entry of the 16th visa holders into Kuwait. Direct flights to Kuwait with 35 countries are still suspended.
