Sun News Desk : At least 13 dengue patients died and 2,799 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours across the country.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Tuesday.

With the latest death, a total of 1,030 people died of dengue to date this year.

Currently, 9,198 people diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals in and outside the capital of Dhaka.

Of them, 2,940 are being treated at the facilities in the capital while 6,258 are in other divisions.

As many as 2,11,683 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.
