Hero Alam gets back candidacy

Sun News Desk : Independent candidate Ashraful Hossain Hero Alam got back his candidacy for Dhaka-17 by-polls.

After hearing today, additional secretary of Election Commission Ashoke Kumar Debnath confirmed the matter.

Returning Officer Md Monir Hossain Khan on June 18 cancelled the nomination papers of eight candidates, including Hero Alam.

On June 20, Hero Alam filed an appeal with the election commission.
