Change of Government is Not Possible Without Elections

Own Correspondent: Awami-League General Secretary and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that another election should be arranged if the government wants to change. There is no alternative to change the government without elections. The change that took place was through democratic elections.

He said these things in a briefing at the A-League office at 23 Bangabandhu Avenue on Friday (March 15) at noon.

Quader said, BNP leaders are spending their time comfortably. The workers were brought into the field with hope, now they are disappointed. There is no situation where leaders will call for agitation. In a word, BNP is now losing its ability to move.

He said, people are not with BNP, not in movement, people are now confident in Sheikh Hasina's leadership. People of this country have accepted his honesty and leadership. So the people of Bangladesh are with the Prime Minister.

A'League's Organizing Secretary BM Mozammel Haque, Afzal Hossain, Office Secretary Biplab Barua, Publicity and Publication Affairs Secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap, Deputy Office Sayem Khan and others were present.
