The minister told reporters at the start of a meeting at the secretariat on Tuesday (December 21).

Zahid Malek said, 'Safety app is being updated to give corona ticker booster dose to everyone. Now the frontliners are being given in the limited form. People over 60 and front-liners can get vaccinated with the vaccination card.

Stating that Omicron has not spread in the country yet, the Health and Family Welfare Minister said, "Necessary activities are being carried out to stop Omicron."

So far, the first dose of the Corona vaccine has been given to 6 crore people and the second dose to 4 crore people. In other words, the first dose of the Corona vaccine has been given to 80 percent of people. The health minister also said that 35 percent of people have taken the second dose.
