International Desk: A hangar collapsed in the field of Boise Airport in Idaho, USA. At least 3 people were killed and 9 people were injured.

Officials said the accident happened on Wednesday (January 31) afternoon local time. This information was given in a report of the Washington Post.
A steel-framed hangar under construction for a private business collapsed at the Boise airport around 5 p.m. local time, authorities there said in a statement.
The fire department says the 3 victims died on the spot. 5 out of 9 injured people are in serious condition. They have been admitted to hospital.
However, the authorities are investigating what exactly caused the collapse. It happened next to the Jackson Jet Center, where private aircraft charters and maintenance are done.

Boise Fire Department Operations Chief Aaron Hummel called the incident catastrophic. He said that all those who were there till Wednesday evening have been interrogated initially. However, he did not want to comment immediately on the casualty.
According to a CBS News report, the contractor Big D Builders was awarded the job of building a 39,000-square-foot hangar for the Jackson Jet Center. However, the company was not immediately available for comment on the accident.
