Nearly 27,000 Killed in Gaza

International Desk: The death toll of Palestinians from the Israeli attack on Gaza has reached almost 27,000. About 66,000 people were wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7.

Anadolu news agency disclosed this information in a report on Wednesday (January 31).

According to the report, since October 7, the number of dead in the Israeli attack in the Gaza Strip has reached 26,900 people. Gaza's Ministry of Health reported that the indiscriminate Israeli offensive has entered its 117th day.

Gaza's health ministry said another 65,949 people were injured in the attack.

In the last 24 hours, the Israeli army carried out 16 "massacres" in the Gaza Strip, the statement said. As a result, 150 people were killed and 313 others were injured. Many people are still trapped under the rubble ... and rescuers are unable to reach them, said in the report.

Incidentally, since the unprecedented cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7, Israel has been carrying out continuous air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip. Thousands of buildings including hospitals, schools, refugee camps, mosques, churches have been damaged or destroyed in this Israeli attack.

After a week-long humanitarian truce with Hamas, Israel resumed air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip in early December. The occupation forces intensified the attack on Gaza in this operation that started after a pause.
