According to Arab News, the Saudi government banned all forms of entry by road, sea and air from other countries on December 20 after the introduction of a new type of corona in the UK. After a few days, they have decided to lift the ban from today. However, the travel ban has been lifted with a number of conditions to prevent the spread of new infections.

According to the government, any non-Saudi citizen from the United Kingdom, South Africa and other countries where new types of corona have been identified, if they want to come to Saudi Arabia, they have to stay in another country for at least 14 days and then can enter Saudi Arabia. After 14 days, PCR test results will be needed to prove whether they are tax-free.

Even then, anyone from the newly identified country be kept under home quarantine for seven days. They will also have to undergo a PCR test in six days.

In addition, Saudi nationals who will be allowed to enter on humanitarian or emergency ground must be quarantined in their home for 14 days. They have to undergo PCR test twice. The first time within 48 hours of entering Saudi and the second time within 13 days of quarantine.

In addition, in countries where new cases of corona have not been detected, the previous warning will remain in place. They must stay in the home quarantine for seven or three days after entering Saudi. They also need to undergo PCR test.

A new strain of the corona was first identified in the UK last month. The world is worried about this new type of coronary heart disease. In addition to the United Kingdom, other European countries, including France and Sweden, have already identified the new strain in Japan, South Africa, Jordan, Canada and India.

In Saudi Arabia, meanwhile, both detection and death have dropped dramatically. The country's health ministry said only 102 new patients had been identified there on Saturday, the lowest in nine months.
