International Desk: Chinese underwater drones are swarming in the Indian Ocean. The drones deployed for espionage are called C-Wing Gliders. In Chinese, their name is Hai. ANI quoted defense analyst HI Sutton , writing for Fobs Magazine.
The drones were dispatched in mid-December 2019, according to a report on Sunday (January 3rd). By February 2020, they had collected 3,400 classified information. Hi Sutton writes that the US Navy once sent such drones to the Indian Ocean.
In 2016, China destroyed an American drone. They said the drones were obstructing the movement of ships. But then China itself sent such drones. At the same time, China has sent drones to the South Pole.
According to Forbes Magazine, Chinese military documents said 14 drones were sent to the Indian Ocean in December last year. Later it was seen that 12 had been sent.
